For Earth Month and to celebrate our 1-year anniversary, Beyond Plastics Queens is excited to partner with Sanitation Foundation for the NYC Big Spring Clean - a spectacular month of cleanups and activities during Earth Month where we champion New Yorkers and help them care for the places they love the most. And we love QUEENS the most! We hope you will combine your love of Queens and your love of our shared natural environment, and join us to keep our neighborhoods clean! Supplies provided, just dress appropriately (pants recommend), wear sunscreen and/or a hat, and bring a reusable water bottle.

DATE & TIME: Sunday, April 21, 2024 at 10 am - 12 pm (followed by pizza)
LOCATION: Meet at Socrates Sculpture Park entrance: Corner of Vernon Blvd & Broadway, Astoria/L.I.C., Queens, NYC (see map at very bottom of this form)
NOTE: This is a drizzle or shine event. If heavy rains, we will cancel.
(Since 80% of plastic waste in the ocean comes from street litter then goes into sewers, our local water systems and often the ocean thereafter, you'll be protecting both marine wildlife and ecosystems as well as human health.)
