We're joining the Big NYC Spring Clean and cleaning up Fort Greene! We're partnering with Fort Greene Park Conservancy and we'll start at the Fort Greene Park Visitor Center. The clean up will start with a briefing and we'll spread out from there, picking up trash on the streets of Fort Greene. There will be several routes established but you can clean whatever corner of Fort Greene matters to you. Tools will be provided. Don't miss this chance to get out and impact your own community and meet your neighbors!

The Sanitation Foundation is joining forces with community groups, schools and corporate and non-profit partners all over the city to help power one of NYC's biggest volunteer cleanups ever.
This community volunteer event is not sponsored by the Sanitation Foundation, the Department of Sanitation (“DSNY”), or the City of New York. | Please wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and close-toed shoes. Gloves will be provided but hey, we are picking up trash! | |
| Please be safe and sensible when you are picking up trash. Watch out for traffic and don't pick up broken glass or other dangerous items. Let a team lead know and we can handle it. | |
| Please respect our neighbors. We are picking up trash on the streets and sidewalks, don't stray onto private property. | |
