NYC DSA Bronx-Upper Manhattan Community Solidarity Committee

We are the Community Solidarity Committee members who live and/or work in the Bronx-Upper Manhattan (the entirety of the Bronx and Manhattan north of 96th Street). We participate in various activities like neighborhood/park clean-ups, community fridge clean-ups and restocks, voter registration drives, community gardens, and whatever other local events help foster and support community connection and engagement.

The NYC-DSA tasked branches with expanding their organizing scope and developing geographically specific organizing projects, in order to fill the need for localized, community-based approaches to build sustainable power and deepen connections with diverse working-class constituencies. Member led efforts include community clean-ups across the Bronx-Upper Manhattan area.
