Who We Are
We are a group of Brooklyn residents who live by or use the Franklin Avenue Shuttle. We collaborate with the Brooklyn Jewish Hospital Garden Club (this is the tree care team for the large rent-stabilized community in Crown Heights called the Brooklyn Jewish Hospital), as well as Clean-up Crown Heights. We also team up with the Better Block Project in Bed Stuy.
What We Do
We organize clean-ups and greening under and around the Franklin Avenue Shuttle. The MTA's Franklin Ave Shuttle line runs through Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights, and Prospect Lefferts Gardens. The neglected areas below and around the tracks have accumulated trash that spills out onto surrounding streets. We're dedicated to making these spaces cleaner and more joyful for our neighbors through clean-ups, tree care and more.
