Who We Are
We invite all through registration links as well take direct requests for service projects from youth groups. Bronx River Alliance often recruits participants to have Gardening Tuesdays and supports butterfly garden on-going projects all along Bronx River.
We usually have local parties, youth groups, church members, and pre- registered adult with kids supervised. Often, we have a NYC Parks Stewardship Team registration link for on-line sign up with built in liability waiver. Bronx River Alliance also supports greening group outreach activities.
What We Do
We host clean-ups, beautification, art and gardening in Soundview Park, and greening group activities. NYC Parks Stewardship Team provides permits for group activities and outreach programs on Park properties. We store tools in a locked container at Soundview Park.
We have creative reuse art, clean-ups, stewardship, educational workshops, street tree care, on-going gardening, butterfly conservation, seed giveaways, and literacy book giveaways.
