Str8OuttaBklynMedia is a multi functional community based organization that provides Artistic Programming , Mentorship , and Employment Opportunities for youth in Brooklyn.
What We Do
We provide employment workshops and referrals for youth to gain job experience.
We are also an arts driven organization , where we produce events for youth artists to express themselves and mentor youth in the process of music recording and production .
We are a community led organization that believes the people of the community should lead the way for a better community.
The mission for our community cleanups is to engage youth from the to understand the importance of keeping their neighborhood clean and safe.
Not only to address sanitation and beautification issues in Brooklyn.
But while doing so , create a LOVE of community that translates into better relationships between the youth , and just as importantly , the youth and elders in the neighborhood.
The summer is always a high crime time in the inner city and these activities will help ensure the youth have something positive and fruitful to do with their time.
