That’s 6 years of New Yorkers expressing pride in their city by rolling up their sleeves and volunteering to care for the neighborhoods that make it special. Presented by the Sanitation Foundation and the New York Yankees, the series brings Bronx residents, businesses, and community groups together to take action for a cleaner, greener borough. Every New Yorker is encouraged to show up and show love to their streets. Join us this summer and volunteer for a Bronx Summer Cleanup! All volunteers must be registered in order to participate and will receive a confirmation email. Grow your own microgreens and learn about how The Hort cares for our public spaces every day. Hats and sunglasses are also recommended.WHAT TO BRING Please bring your own water bottle & sunscreen.There is no onsite storage for valuables, please only bring necessities. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.PROVIDED MATERIALS The Sanitation Foundation will provide all necessary tools and glovesACCESSIBILITY Our events are open to volunteers of all abilities.
