Volunteer: 15th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep

Join volunteers on May 2nd, 2026 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm for a watershed clean-up. Meet inside Bronx River Forest at Burke Ave bridge. All tool and supplies are provided. This is a rain or shine event. Participants will walk the NY/NJ Trail and pick up litter.

Volunteer: Soundview Butterfly Garden Workday

This is on on-going stewardship activity, every Tuesday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm we meet to garden. All are welcome to join Friends Of Soundview Park butterfly meditation gardeners. Contact RoE at CQ4CATS11@gmail.com for details. In the event of inclement weather, we WILL NOT be have a garden workday.

At this gardening event volunteers will help prune, rake up dead perennials, and breakdown plant material. This is a garden maintenance workday to re-activate the dormant garden. We expect 25 participants and will provide tools, gloves, and light refreshments.
