Join Council Member Rivera for a Lower East Side community litter clean up on Saturday, April 19th. We’ll be cleaning up from Pitt St to Columbia St (Between Delancey St & 3rd St).
Big Spring Clean
Join the Sanitation Foundation and help power one of NYC’s biggest volunteer litter cleanups ever. Participate in over 150 cleanups and activities throughout the five boroughs in April and May as part of NYC Big Spring Clean.
The Sanitation Foundation is joining forces with partners citywide - including community groups, schools, corporations and non-profit organizations to help create a cleaner and more sustainable city for all New Yorkers. Step up and clean up!

WHAT TO WEAR
We encourage you to wear comfortable clothing that can get dirty & closed-toe shoes.
Hats and sunglasses are also recommended.
WHAT TO BRING
Please bring your own water bottle & sunscreen.
There is no onsite storage for valuables, please only bring necessities. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
PROVIDED MATERIALS
The Sanitation Foundation will provide all necessary tools and gloves, as well as extra sunscreen and water.
