The Manhattan 75 Block Association

Who We Are

The Manhattan 75 Block Association (“M75”) is a resident-led volunteer organization serving West 75th Street from Riverside Park to Central Park on the Upper West Side of Manhattan. In one of the most densely populated neighborhoods in New York City, we estimate our constituency includes 3,000–5,000 residents. Our mission at M75 is to create a vibrant, welcoming community on West 75th Street by celebrating our NYC roots, beautifying our shared spaces, and bringing neighbors together. Whether you're new to the block or a longtime resident, we invite you to join us in making our street a place where everyone feels at home.

What We Do

The Manhattan 75 Block Association hosts regularly scheduled block clean-up days and two Block Beautification Days each year. Events are listed on our website at https://manhattan75.nyc/. On the day of the event, we establish a clearly marked “base camp” on West 75th Street, where volunteers sign in, receive supplies, and are organized into teams of two or more. Teams are then dispatched along both sides of the block to conduct litter removal, tree bed care, and other beautification tasks. This structured but neighborly approach ensures safety, visibility, and a strong sense of shared purpose.
