I Am My Community Inc. is a Bronx-based, community-led organization powered by local residents, youth leaders, and grassroots volunteers who reflect the communities we serve. We operate through strategic partnerships with community organizations, city agencies, and local stakeholders, building a network that supports sustainable, on-the-ground change. Our leadership is rooted in lived experience, allowing us to effectively engage, organize, and deliver solutions in neighborhoods that are often overlooked.
What We Do
I Am My Community Inc. leads high-impact, community-driven initiatives including weekly large-scale food distribution, neighborhood cleanups, and daily Open Streets programming that directly address food insecurity, public safety, and environmental conditions. We mobilize residents, activate public spaces, and deliver consistent, hands-on services that improve quality of life in underserved communities.
