The Idlewild Environmental Center is dedicated to fostering environmental stewardship, scientific literacy, and community engagement through hands-on education, ecological preservation, and advocacy for environmental justice. Situated within the Idlewild Park Preserve, we empower residents—especially youth and underserved communities—to explore, understand, and protect the natural world, while promoting sustainable solutions that connect people to their local ecosystems.
