La Colmena Street Clean Up

La Colmena is a community-based organization founded in 2014, working to empower day laborers, domestic workers, and other low-wage immigrant workers in Staten Island through organizing, education, culture, and equitable economic development. We are committed to providing the tools they need to become leaders who can speak and advocate for themselves and their communities.

La Colmena aims to improve the quality of life of Staten Island immigrant workers and their families by providing access to resources, education, job safety, leadership development and celebration of their cultures so they can advocate for themselves and their families.
