Welcome to the Rosedale Preservation Society which is intended to be of benefit to all community members of Southeast Queens, New York. The mission-purpose of the Rosedale Preservation Society is to empower and educate-inform the community and city-employed professionals about multiple progressive interests designed to preserve-protect the quality of life and community standards, with attention to priority community projects.

The capital improvements and environmental enhancements that impact our communities are often not well-publicized to the broader neighborhoods-communities, including the surrounding natural wetlands preserves and bird-fish-wildlife habitat known as Hook Creek Park (formerly known as "Public Place Park"), a 111-acre natural preserve wetlands and Idlewild Park Preserve (346-acres) ... All supporters-volunteers will receive reusable protective gloves, trash grabbers-pickers, garbage bags, hand sanitizer, and access to sturdy brooms.  The Sanitation Foundation cleanup events include the sorting and weighing of collected debris-garbage-recyclable-trash to audit and determine the effectiveness of sanitation data metrics and community education-outreach.

Great community vibes and music tunes (when deemed appropriate) -- and city agency-department resources will be made available.

The Sanitation Foundation is responsible for awarding the community cleanup tool kit grant to support our community efforts and endorsing the citywide empowerment of one hundred fifty (150+) cleanup activities throughout all of the five boroughs.
